William Chow, M.D.

Board Certified Neurologist

Dr. Chow started his illustrious education in receiving his double-major bachelors degrees in Neurobiology and Psychology at the University of California at Berkeley.  He was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society.  He received Doctor of Medicine degree at New York Medical College followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at the prestigious NYU Northshore University Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.  Dr. Chow excelled during his Neurology residency training at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center where he received American Academy of Neurology Resident Scholarship Award.  He then completed additional sub-specialty training in Electroencephalography, Electromyography, Evoked Potentials and Intra-Operative Neuro-monitoring by successfully completing the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the acclaimed UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.  

 

Dr. Chow is a Diplomate of ABPN - Board Certified Neurologist with Active California Medical License and Federal DEA License.  He is an Attending Physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and has a thriving private practice at Cedars-Sinai Medical Office Towers.  Dr. Chow is a member of UCLA clinical faculty as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. He is a panel member of Neurophysiology Department at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. 

 

Dr. Chow is the recipient of multiple Awards including the Cedars-Sinai Circle of Friends Honor Roll (nominated 28 times by his patients over the years),  Compassionate Doctor Recognition by Vitals.com and he is voted by his peers as one of the Southern California Super Doctor by Los Angeles Magazine.  He is featured on multiple television and media programs including The Doctors on CBS and Midday Buzz on LA18.  He also regularly contributes to print media including Medscape Neurology , Huffington Post, and  US News and World Report (Article1 and Article 2).

 

Dr. Chow currently treats patients with a wide range of neurological disorders, including Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Headaches, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease.  Dr. Chow is a Qualified MAF Physician for the NFL Concussion Program.
